WoW Classic Guide: The Fast Ways to Make Gold

Classic WoW is all about efficiency, especially in the matter of money making. While in Battle for Azeroth and the previous expansions we got used to the WOW Classic Gold as a fast moving currency that comes and goes easily, gold in WoW Classic actually matters. It is often earned through manual labor at a low rate, around 20 to 30 gold per hour at best. Looking at that rate, you will be spending a minimum of 30 hours of farming to reach a 900 gold milestone for an epic mount. Let alone learning all spells and abilities, riding training, buying consumables, repairs, etc. Buying a mount is one of the best things you can do for efficiency as it decreases your travel time.

Professions

In WoW Classic, professions are an integral part of the game and will be important in every phase. While some professions can help to make items that you will use for raiding and PvP, professions are also an excellent way to make gold. If your primary goal is to make gold, some professions are better than others. Below is a tier list for how the different professions rank strictly in terms of making gold.

S-Tier: Skinning

A-Tier: Alchemy, Herbalism, Mining

B-Tier: Leatherworking

C-Tier: Enchanting, Engineering

D-Tier: Tailoring, Blacksmithing

While this tier list should be accurate in general, it is important to note that there are exceptions. Certain Enchanting patterns, Alchemy recipes, and other crafting patterns are very rare and very desirable. If you get lucky and get a rare pattern, such as the pattern for

Lionheart Helm from Ragnaros, you can make insane amounts of gold just by nature of being one of the only people able to make that specific item.

Make a second character for disenchantingIf you plan to have more than one character active and leveling at a time—a nice way to take advantage of rested experience—make the second one an enchanter. This must be a character you plan to level, because your enchanting skill must also rise in order to keep disenchanting higher level items.

While you’re getting your primary character from 1-60, focus on entry-level disenchanting that doesn’t require significant effort on your disenchanting character to keep up.

It’s not typically worth it to make lower level enchants (endgame enchants are a different story). Enchanting materials can be lucrative, relatively speaking, compared to the green and blue gear they come from.

Farm dungeonsIt’s harder to farm for rare items in World of Warcraft Classic because many of them are 'world drops,' available anywhere in the game world inhabited by monsters of a certain type or level. But there are plenty of materials specifically used by crafters that are useful to farm and repeatedly sell which spawn in dungeons, where you have no competition.

The key to farming dungeons for materials is being able to either kill the monsters yourself or not be seen by them. This is why most farming of this type is done by Rogues or Druids, because they can stealth their way through. Then there are Hunters and other strong solo classes who can kill everything that can drop something useful.Grind dungeons for crafting materialsSome dungeon farming requires gathering skills: Fadeleaf, for example, is a popular item because it’s used in Rogues’ disappearing powder. Scarlet Monastery and other dungeons include spawn points that are easy to reach for classes that have stealth and herbalism. Grave Moss is most easily farmed in the Scarlet Graveyard cemetery. Dark Iron Ore is easy for Rogues or Druids to farm in Blackrock Depths in the long hallway that leads to Bael’gar.

Speaking of proper investment, you can buy WOW Classic Gold in some stores when your inventory is in short supply, as you can't do all the quests on your own. Here is a good store to trade gold, https://www.igvault.com/WOW-Classic-Gold , becoming the nice assistant while playing. You are worried about the price and security, with this in mind, it can be guaranteed on the site, which is cheaper than other stores and protected by a security system.
