All they should do is allow meme template posts that are altered to a significant degree. Clearly define what qualifies. It feels like since Adam abandoned their team, they've lost their individuality. Evidence of this may be viewed by just looking at the very best posts on this particular subreddit and seeing how many of these could be taken out by this team today, if they were submitted.

It is interesting looking at the article introducing mods and seeing since. And I really don't want this to turn into an anti-mod article, but I hope I could provide some insight. However, this is not unbiased so keep this in mind. Within that interval I combined FC, the clan and Discord host; of which I hold some form of moderation place in all three. This is not supposed to provide perspective from where I'm coming from, although to be a bragging point. More moderation isn't moderation. Anyway when new moderator programs were posted in 2016(?) I sent mine, I had a connection with several present mods already, was quite active within the community, and genuinely wanted to make the community better. I was not selected obviously, but more peculiar people were (that's another story).

My suspicion is that the mod team favors people to clamp down in the present time and deal with public fallout after or they've internal guidelines along the lines of zero tolerance policies, disallowing conclusion calls (wait are we talking about cops or subreddit mods?). FWIW my opinion on memes is as follows: when the posrt is really a generic meme requiring the title to Buy Old School RuneScape Gold operate it can be removed if it could stand without the title it must stay alone on its own.
