BioWare Montreal (currently EA Motive) fucked up Volume Effect. Edmonton and Austin didn't get their hands on it before it was far too late. A trendy realization I just came to is, within the last 20 years, I went from buying every Madden, NHL, FIFA, and (before 2005) MVP Baseball game each year (along with other EA titles, such as NBA Live some years) to only the NHL and FIFA series, then just to FIFA, and now for the last couple years, nothing. Maybe I am an outlier, but EA has pissed away everything good they had to possess in their sport games and lost me as a client participant. I played a few FiFA18/PS4 I believe with a friend after a long time, and the controls where so clunky and stupid.
