Antibody or serology tests look for antibodies in your blood that fight the virus that causes COVID-19.

Antibody testing is typically performed when someone has fully recovered from COVID-19. A health care professional takes a blood sample by drawing blood from the vein in the arm or by pricking the fingertip. The availability of the test will determine who is eligible for this test.
