I had been at level 40 ranging, and I'd like to get to about level 50+ that range. (I am in free-to-play runescape.) Obtaining1900 adamant arrows from ankou drops, I can now train my stalks. But while training that range, I'd like to find something else in OSRS gold the meanwhile (e.g. getting great drops fighting ankous while coaching melee).

I'd love to train my ranging on the ankous, but my shield whilst wearing ranging armor would not stand up well against ankous. Wearing full rune armor, I am fine while coaching my melee fighting ankous - but wearing complete green dragonhide armor to train Ranging against ankous, I'd run from lobsters too quickly. I've been at the crafting guild, training ranging from cows. Equipped using green dragonhide armor (and carrrying along 1 needle, plenty of thread, lots of stone, and one brown apron), I have been focusing on training up my ranging, but I also train up my prayer (currently level 53) with the bones, and grab the cowhides until my knapsack has 24 cowhides.

Then I change from green dragonhide to brown stripes, enter the crafting guild, go upstairs and pay the tanner to tan the cowhides into challenging leather, craft all into hardleatherbodies (training my crafting, currently level 54), shed all hardleatherbodies, change from wearing brown apron to greendragonhide, then simply return beyond the crafting guild and restart training ranging on cows.

And unlike training melee on ankous, I do not need a single lobster while training ranging on cows - an edge I love, because I don't need to always keep working to your lender and loading up on lobsters. I have trained up to level 43 ranging together with the above technique. But does anyone have any better ideas of what I can train my ranging on? Perhaps training on buy RS gold the wizards south of Falador (or the dark wizards south of Varrock) to pick up lots of runes while preparing my Ranging? Or instruction on Hill Giants to increase prayer level while coaching up Ranging? Any good ideas out there on the best way to prepare Ranging on?
